Full Membership

  • Has a Bachelor or Master of Social Work Degree and/or is working in a Social Work position after completion of a four-year college degree 
  • Can participate in all CEU programs and earn CEU credits 
  • Can participate in all group activities, serve on committees, receive all mailing, vote, and hold office

Associate Membership

$25
  • ​​Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Social Work program and/or is involved in an oncology-related organization
  • May participate in all CEU programs but will not earn any CEU credits
  • Can participate in all group activities, serve on committees, and receive all mailing but cannot vote or hold office

The Georgia Social Work Oncology Group extends many privileges to active members. This includes networking events, resource exchanges and support, professional opportunities, and providing opportunity for Continued Education Units (CEU) credits! In addition, members can access the GA SWOG directory to network with fellow social workers and access a full list of oncology-related resources.

There are two categories of membership: Full Membership and
Associate Membership. We operate on a rolling membership with dues paid in full at sign up.
