The Georgia Social Work Oncology Group (GA-SWOG) is an organization of social work professionals dedicated to the advancement of social work practice within hospitals, physician practices, hospices, home health agencies, nursing homes, and other settings throughout the state of Georgia. By providing continuing education opportunities for social workers and other health care professionals, GA-SWOG seeks to improve the quality of care for cancer patients and their family members, and to advance our vision of social work as a discipline that is vital to cancer care.
